This year is going to be leadership-defining year for all companies and employees. The current management crisis has turned out to be a different ball game. Victory from the scarce environment will be different from succeeding under optimum conditions. The strategies will be different for all companies. Some will do great innovations and some will fumble. Everyone can’t be the winner. The winning edge will be the deciding factor. The golden mantra or the key to success will be connect with people.

The approach the leaders make to the people will hold the success. It’s all about passing the message with great clarity and precision. The deciding factor will be how the leader connects with his peer members. It’s about gaining confidence in the people. It’s about making the people believe in the success they are going to reap within the year. The more the confidence of the people the more will be the energy level displayed by the front runners on and off the field. Great leaders connect with people in the simplest ways. Let the meeting be simple and precise. When the people can predict the outcome after the team meeting the leader is through the first half of the battle. The rest will be a mix of optimism, execution and a mix of positive energy. The shouting boss is digging his own grave. The need of the hour is a calm, well tuned and result oriented leader.

Let the people get connected in the form of family get togethers although cost cutting is the trend these days. First the people stay focused in the organization then they will start delivering their best.

Tough Times Wont Last But Tough Guys Do Last

Tough statement. Right? I was fortunate enough last Saturday to be at the office of my friend who is a bank employee. We were planning for a Saturday bash out and I was in his office to pick him. Nice feeling, good ambience. The atmosphere altogether holds a positive vibration. My friend was going through his official mails. Suddenly his body language started changing into a hardcore professional. I enquired with curiosity what’s happening with him. At last I was allowed to peep into the mail. That was a mail by his super boss who controls him from another state in India.

The heading is a powerful, precise and a tough statement as I mentioned it in the beginning. Tough Times wont last but tough guys do last. Yes the organization is under the influence of Recession, the most used term in the financial year ending quarter. Tough scaling measures are used these days by all organizations for better productivity. The question is clear for all of us, I guess. So are we tough enough to take this time as an opportunity to deliver the best. Just check with yourself whether you are tough enough to take the battle ahead. It’s a win-win situation or else you are the loser. Yes this time is to prove your mettle in the area of your excellence. At times great performance has the back drops of scarcity.

Stay sharp, focused and stick on to the expected outcomes. You are here to deliver your best for the very best intentions of your organization. Just be energetic and enthusiastic to give your best shot of the day….Start delivering it on a daily basis. Let this testing time be your golden period. Once you are with your company in situations like this they will always be with you. Good luck warriors….

Tendancies

No human can confirm that he is a sound person. He can only thinks in that way.

No human can say that his decisions are correct. He can act as if his decisions are correct.

There is no specific measuring scale to categorize normality and abnormality. All human beings have their own negatives and are abnormal to an extent. Some gets noticed and others don’t get noticed.

When you are fighting or angry with someone you cant predict the outcome or the end result.

Compartmentalization

It’s high time for us to think and implement the concept of the era called compartmentalization. As the word defines its to channelise our day to day activities. In this complex world where almost everyone plays the role of cross functionality almost flawless one has to do this on a daily basis. You are not only the CEO of a company but also a sensible husband and a devoted father. So channelise it and be the winner in all segments.
